For people living with GLP-1 medications

Sister site: GLP-1 Ranked

About

A guide for the weeks the prescription does not explain.

GLP-1 User Guide is a health-information site for people already living with GLP-1 medications. The writing is supportive and non-judgmental. It is not a clinic, a pharmacy, or a ranking of products.

Who it is for

People titrating a dose, figuring out what to eat when hunger goes quiet, wondering whether a side effect is ordinary, or trying to picture the months after the first stretch of weight loss. Friends and family who want plain language are welcome too.

If you are choosing among medications, start at our sister site,GLP-1 Ranked. This site picks up after that decision, in the day-to-day.

Medical disclaimer

The disclaimer above is the same component shown on every article. Writers do not paste a second copy into the markdown. The wording lives in one place so it cannot drift between pages.

Guides may discuss how dosing is usually described, what people report, and questions worth taking to a clinician. They do not tell a reader which drug to take, which dose to use, or when to stop. Urgent symptoms are pointed at urgent care, not at a comment thread.

Medically reviewed

A page says “Medically reviewed” only when a named reviewer has signed off, and the reviewer’s name is in the article frontmatter. Every other page says “Not medically reviewed.” The badge is not a design accent. It is a claim, so it stays off until it is true.

Illustrative journeys

Some stories are composites: details drawn from common experiences so a reader can recognize the shape of a month without us publishing someone’s chart. Those articles carry an illustrative-journey flag in the first screen. A first-person account of one real person turns that flag off and says whose story it is.

Sources

Published guides list sources: a regulator page, a drug label, or a peer-reviewed study. If a link needs context, the source note says so. Finished articles do not invent citations.

Advertising

Articles include empty ad slots so layout and labeling can be reviewed before any network is chosen. The slots do not load third-party scripts. When a network is added later, it belongs inside the ad-slot component, not copied into individual guides.
